This 1987 Zimmer Quicksilver was purchased by the current owner from Vince Russo's World of Wheels of South Weymouth, Massachusetts in 1989, and has remained titled in the state since. It now has 14k miles and is powered by a mid-mounted 2.8-liter V6 paired with a three-speed automatic transaxle. The Pontiac Fiero-based coupe is finished in silver over pewter leather upholstery and features chrome bumpers, dual-exit exhausts, pop-up headlights, wood interior trim, mouton carpets, cruise control, air conditioning, and a Delco AM/FM/cassette stereo. This Zimmer Quicksilver is now offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with original purchase documentation, manuals, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Massachusetts title in the owner's name.

The Zimmer Quicksilver was penned by former GM designer Don “D.A.” Johnson and was based on the Pontiac Fiero. The cars had their floorpans stretched 16″ at the Zimmer production facility in Pampano Beach, Florida, before custom fiberglass bodywork and chrome bumpers were fitted. This example is finished in Silver Metallic and features a dual-exit exhaust, a chrome grille, and a Zimmer hood ornament. The pop-up headlights can be seen raised in the gallery below.

The 15″ basketweave-style wheels feature black centers, and they are mounted with 215/65 Goodyear Eagle GT tires showing pre-2000 date codes. A spare wheel with a Goodyear temporary use tire is mounted under the front trunk carpet. The Quicksilver featured a fully independent suspension as well as power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.

The cabin features bucket seats trimmed in pewter leather upholstery, which extends to the dashboard, door panels, and center console. Equipment includes dark gray mouton carpets, wood trim, cruise control, air conditioning, and a Delco AM/FM/cassette stereo.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a 6,500-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows under 14k miles.

The front and rear velour-lined trunks can be seen in the gallery.

The transverse 2.8-liter 60° V6 is mounted behind the passenger compartment and is fitted with electronic port-type fuel injection and a Quicksilver-branded intake manifold. It was factory rated at 140 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 170 lb-ft of torque at 3,600 rpm.
